CARE is my fave above all. This one line captured me - "Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts.."
ReplyDeleteA great find!
Definitely World Hunger!
ReplyDeleteThe Children's Defense Fund would be what I would choose. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteBig Brothers Big Sisters of America!

As a nurse I recognize how important medical care is. Those that need it the most often have the most limited access. I would definitely choose Physicians for Peace.
ReplyDeleteI love the The Hunger Project and have helped with it before! I love companies who donate - Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThe Children's Defense Fund is my favorite. After all, children are our future.
ReplyDeleteI've always though FINCA International was an amazing idea.
ReplyDeleteBig Brothers Big Sisters of America
ReplyDeleteChildren's Defense Fund!! How important!
ReplyDeleteFrom your list of charities, I would choose Physicians for Peace. We really like Children's Hunger Fund too. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAngie
Any local charity that takes care of the working poor.
ReplyDeleteYour games look lots of fun with lots of learning. I have taught children for 45 years and enjoy doing games with my grandchildren that help them learn at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see CARE benefit from your generosity.
Thanks

I love all of these charities but I was especially pleased to see AMREF and FINCA International listed because I think these are two lesser known charities and by contributing to them as well they are helping more and more people become aware of two more great causes. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBig Brothers Big Sisters of America
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
America’s Second Harvest
ReplyDeleteCARE for sure!
ReplyDeleterenae18[at]gmail[dot]com
My fund choice would be FINCA International. Giving disadvantaged individuals, especially women, the means to bring their ideas to life, helps not only them but their local communities as well. Thanks so much for making these donations!
ReplyDeleteChildren's Defense Fund! Thanks! ( meg (dot) wilson (at) gmail (dot) com )
ReplyDeleteBoth FINCA and America’s Second Harvest are charities we already support!
ReplyDeleteWorld hunger is my favorite of them all
ReplyDeleteCHildrens defense Fund- How awesome- great company!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great site. I loved their 'Fun Stuff' link. I'm a huge fan of playing games, talking and spending time with the family 'doing' something rather than just parking in front of a TV.
ReplyDeleteI would choose the Physicians for Peace fund. Fabulous site! Thanks for the info on it...I'll for sure visit it again!

The Hunger Project is my choice.
ReplyDeleteCARE
ReplyDeleteI think I like the FINCA International project - helping individuals have a way to support and sustain themselves seems like a good "long view" way of improving lives.
ReplyDeleteI like FINCA.
ReplyDeleteThey are all great charities. I like the idea behind FINCA International. My husband and I contribute to a similar initiative called KIVA.
ReplyDeleteChildren's Defense Fund! Thanks for the chance...

Big Brothers Big Sisters - This is a very prevalent charity in my community and I know many people personally who have benefited from the program

The Hunger Project
ReplyDeleteThose are all very worthwhile causes. I'm going to say the Hunger Project.
ReplyDeleteI would chose the hunger project.
ReplyDeleteHer site won't load. :( But the Hunger Project sounds perfect!
ReplyDeleteAmerica's Second Harvest, we have helped with gleaning several times...it is a great way to help others out!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome site to have found! I will be visiting it regularly now...THANKS!!!
ReplyDeleteI think that Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America is vital for our youth and children at risk. We all need to have a positive role model or mentor in our lives and I don't think the celebrities of today qualify! :-)

I've always been impressed with the CARE organization. Women and mothers do so much for their families. Sometimes they just need a little help to make a big impact.
