My 4-year-old has just strolled into the kitchen to tell me something. He has a bit of a speech impediment that he has been able to work through little by little. I ask him 3 times what he wants.
"I want women and beer, mom."
"Come again, Son?"
"I need women and beer!"
"I don't think I heard you right..."
"Mom, I SAID I WANT WOMEN AND BEER!"
By now I can hear my husband snickering from around the corner. He comes in and asks me what our son wanted. Now I am starting to understand that this is a cruel game on Mommy.
"What did you tell him to ask me?" I questioned my guilty husband.
"I told him to ask you for some lemon and deer."
Nothing like raising an extra boy on the nights and weekends......
