Awhile back, we told you about our laundry routine. As messy as it was at the time, it's even changed a bit since then (due to a new HE front-loading washer and dryer -- YEAH! -- and some new products we've been jived about.) One thing that hasn't changed, however, is the overall cycle of how we do laundry.
For some inspirational reading on the ins and outs of laundry additives (brought to you by Clorox), see this ultimate laundry guide. It includes a summary of benefits for all your laundry add-ons (like pre-treaters and softeners), as well as a step-by-step checklist for getting the best outcome with your laundry routine (with separate instructions for traditional top-loading and HE washings.)
Even better, this guide features tips from "the" laundry guru -- Dr. Laundry. He gives practical advice for tackling the toughest laundry problems -- before they cost you. Check out the guide and start getting it right in the laundry room!
Wanna Win? We have a laundry gift basket to give to five lucky Lille Punkin' readers (valued at over $40)! ReplyDeleteTough grind in dirt and mud is my biggest problem, the boys here are always on a scout camping trip and when they come back.. there is a lot of stains and heavy duty odors. I can get most out, but a few still stains remain.
ReplyDeletekarenmed409(at)comcast(dot)net
mine is food stains my son must have a hole in his chin
ReplyDeleteThe nagging problem is the amount of lint that gets in the trap. I am so conscientious about the lint trap that I have gone through two lint trap brushes. I hate the feel of lint in my hands too so I am going against that as well.

We don't wear a lot of whites...so I always only have about half a load of whites a week...and I'm not wasting water on that! But then I always want that white shirt, etc!
ReplyDeleteMy nagging laundry problem is that I am probably the only person on the planet that never uses bleach because I don't know how. I have used it twice before in the past and ruined the clothes both times, so I am too afraid to try again, and just settle for dull and dingey whites.

My nagging laundry problem is that my 7 year old is always putting a ton of clothes in the dirty clothes basket that aren't dirty. They might be clothes she considered wearing to school or whatever and then threw on the ground and then later put in the basket even though they never were worn. I wash so much of her clean clothes that it makes me a little crazy.
ReplyDeleteMY NAGGING laundry problem is how antique my washing machine is. unfortunatley for my downstairs neighbors i am a navy wife and my washing machine might have been moved around a little too much, so it makes such a loud ruckus that everyone who lives nearby hears it- (especially my downstairs neighbors marcus and chad) AND it can even be heard 50 ft outside of my apt. Its still washes clothes (for now) but what with my hubby being gone all the time i cant exactly have him fix it, and am scared to call someone out to have them fix it bc i fear its garbage and i cant exactly afford another but thank the lord it still washed clothes or id be going to laundromat.
ReplyDeletesorry email addy is davisc9333@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteMy most nagging laundry problem is dryer lint. Even though the machine's well-vented it still leaks behind the dryer and is hard to get to for cleanup. It also seems to leave a lint film all over that side of the house. *Thanks* for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteMy most nagging problem is getting stains out. I've tried all the stuff you can buy for stains, but what seems to work best for me is putting Dawn liquid dishwashing soap on the stain and letting it soak in, then washing it.
