Kroger Mega Savings Event!

Who likes to save extra when they shop? That's a ridiculous question, I know, but recently I was able to spend $30 at my local Kroger chain store to see what kind of savings I could come up with. Did I like it? You betcha!

Their Savings Event (which ran August 16h - September 2nd) was a super-easy way to save money on stuff I already buy. What brands are included? Too many to list, but a few you already know include: AMP Energy, Aquafina, Betty Crocker Baking Mixes, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, Cascadian Farms Cereals and Bars, Cap'n Crunch, Cheerios, Cheetos, Chex Mix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cocoa Puffs, Dole Juices and Juice Drinks, Fiber One, Fritos, Gatorade, Golden Grahams, Green Giant, Hamburger Helper, Life , Lipton Tea, Nature Valley, Old El Paso, Pepsi family of 2 Liters, Pillsbury, Progresso, Propel, Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Quaker Chewy Bars, Starbucks, Sobe Life Water, Totino's, Trix, Tropicana, Yoplait

Buy buying just 10 of these brands at my local Kroger store, I was able to receive $5 off instantly! And there was no limit to the number of rewards per transaction. (Can you just hear me crunching the numbers AFTER coupons?)

So many of my friends participated in this year's event. They used cereal coupons to get super cheap cereal AND cash back. Breakfast was very affordable at my house this month :)

    Since moving to GA, I chose Kroger to do all of my shopping. Everything looks fresh and the store is always clean. The pricing is reasonable and the meats look great.

    I *used to* shop at Kroger when I lived in Kentucky. It was kind of similar to Jewel, which means nice sales, even nicer for those who had a card. Btw, if I were to win, I'd send the card to my "grandmother" in KY.

    I like Kroger for the great sales, double coupons and the fact that I can download P&G coupons from the web directly to my Kroger card and there is no clipping or forgetting the coupons.

    I love King Soopers (Kroger family store in our area)-- they have the best produce around, good sales, and an awesome cheese counter. It's a pleasure to shop there and it seems a 'step up' from your average grocery store. Oh yes, they also DOUBLE COUPONS-- that makes a HUGE difference in my grocery bill!

    I do shop at my local Fred Meyer. They're a little more expensive than WinCo, so I do my main shopping at WinCo, but Fred Meyer is within walking distance so I go there to pick up little stuff I forgot or ran out of like an onion or a can of tomato sauce.

    I recently relocated from Houston, Texas to Denver, Colorado!

    While in Houston, I did all of my grocery shopping at Kroger!

    I absolutely love Kroger supermarkets!

    They have the greatest selection of name brand food items at the lowest prices!

    Luckily, since moving to Denver, I've discovered 'King Soopers' supermarkets!

    They're owned by the Kroger company and have the same quality products and low prices as the Kroger supermarkets.

    I do most of my shopping at Kroger. It's close and convenient for me. Sometimes I have to go to Meijer for some items that Kroger doesn't carry but that's only once in a while. I love the Kroger by our house, they have great selection and it's always very clean!
