I love that I read Curious George as a child and that I now read Curious George to my own kids. I think he has the same genuine endearing qualities that kids have too!

He is adorable,of course!It's nice for kids to see him make mistakes, and get through them.When I found out these stories were written by a husband and wife, I thought that was the coolest thing ever,and wanted to grow up, and write books with MY husband!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is taking my daughter to see the movie. She was only 6 weeks old at the time and she was just so good. I wasn't sure how it would be taking 3 kids (age 6, 2 and 6 weeks). It was awesome!!

This year for Halloween I saw the cutest sibling costume of The Man in the Yellow Hat and a baby dressed as a monkey!

Curious George always gives us an opportunity to talk about making good choices - after we get done laughing at his antics! My 5 year old grand daughter is worried because the Man in the Yellow Hat doesn't have a name.

OH i loved George as a kid. I remember I had a stuffed one I brought to bed everynight. he was about worn out then they recalled him because of the amonut of lead in the paint on him, I was sooo happy I got a brand new george LOL

I was sick a couple of months...well over a year ago...and was watching PBS. They aired a Curious George children's cartoon show. I watched the one with George learning to rollerskate...that really cheered me :)

Love Curious George - my favorite memory of him is when my grandson tried to walk out of the library with a stuffed Curious George - mind you he was only two years old. Story time was centered on George and guess he decided that Curious George was going to belong to him. After a few tears all was well.

My 15 month old, my nine year old, and my husband and I all love George. My favorite episode of the show is when George order 100 dozen donuts instead of 1 dozen and has to hide them from the man with the yellow hat.

I love how Happy Curious George makes my youngest. She's curious george and monkey EVERYTHING, she's obsessed!!! her favorite story is when Curious George learns his ABC's
