Soleil Moon Frye and Melissa Joan Hart share Party Planning Tips for "Real" Parents

What a fun day!

I had the chance to ask some questions of child-stars-now-all-grown-up Soleil Moon Frye and Melissa Joan Hart. In addition to being amazingly gracious with their time, I felt so much better as a mom after talking to them. They have the same challenges as any of us, and they also appreciate friendships and "Mom" time in their busy lives.

Hear what they had to say in our video interview:

Thanks, Gain for arranging the interview! (And thanks ladies for making it so special!) 1. Great interview. I have a couple of thoughts here.

    1. How cool is that to interview theses two ladies?

    2. You have the sweetest voice. So polite.

    3. I can't get past thinking Punky Brewster and Clarissa Explains it all. LOL

    4. They are so down to earth. They are very creative, and so open to share with us other mothers.

    5. I love their two different personalities.

    6. Gain rocks. It is the only detergent I use cause it smells so great!

  2. Cheryl,

1.Very cool! They had it set up to professionally, and we chatted a bit before the interview. A top experience, no doubt!

    2. You are too kind.. I can't get over the fact that people can't tell my voice from my 11-yr-old daughter's on the phone, but you helped me feel better about it. LOL

    3. Me too! I had to remind myself NOT to call Soleil "Punky." I wish I had her hair :)

4 and 5. I love that one was more organized and the other more carefree. I think I'm somewhere in the middle, and I love that they do their own dishes!

    6. Starting to experiment more with Gain after this interview. It smells lovely!

Thanks for all your lovely comments :)

  3. Great answers. LOL don't worry about the voice thing my own husband can't tell me and my 16 yr old apart. When I answer, he ask to speak with my mother. When he calls and my daughter answers, he will start rattling off stuff and she will stop him dead and say "Dad you are not talking to mom". LOL
