Did you know that Raisinets has been around for 80 years! And in that time, they have held their own as the only fruit in the product line (until last year when they launched Cranberry Raisinets) to be dipped in chocolate and served up yummy? Well, it's time for a change -- and Nestle has certainly done this change right!
We got the chance to try the new Cherry Raisinets. All I can say is --- woot! These things rock. Really big, juicy dried cherries are drenched in dark chocolate. They are decadent, and even though I usually turn up my nose at anything to do with dark chocolate, the cherry in this treat brings out the flavor. Just a small handful is all I need to get my sweet fix -- the pieces are really quite large!
These whole cherries in chocolate are a source of antioxidants, and one fourth of a cup provide 1/2 serving of fruit. (So if you need a fun fruit boost, here's your chance!)
You can read more about these sweet, sweet treats at the Raisinets website: http://www.raisinets.com/products.aspx For even more fun, check out the new online cartoon featuring Raisnets characters. It's goofy!
Wanna Win? We'll be giving a bag of these new Raisinets to 5 lucky readers!
