Review of David Archuleta: The Other Side of Down CD (Giveaway)

We recently had the chance to listen to an advanced copy of David Archuleta's new CD "The Other Side of Down".  I'm not the expert on what the kids like, so I allowed my daughter to review it and write about it.  She provides the following review of this CD:

"The new album, "The Other Side of Down" is very well-written.  I love it!  I have both of his albums, and I think this one is just a slight bit better than the first (which is good, because with most artists that I listen to, many of the songs on their later albums are "same old.. same old".)  I really do not have any complaints about this album, and it is VERY well written.  I love all the songs, but my favorites are:

"The Other Side of Down"
"Something 'Bout Love"
"Stomping the Roses"
"Who I Am"
"Parachutes and Airplanes"
"Look Around"
"Complain"
"The Day After Tomorrow"

My daughter has listened to this album pretty much since we received it.  It is on her top playlist on her iPod, and she shared it with her friends on a recent trip.  It's always playing!

    I have loved David Archuleta since he was on American Idol. He seems like such a nice young man, and he has a beautiful voice.

    Why do I like David? Well, I've never heard of him and am taking your daughter's word on it :)

    I work in Pediatric Rehab and love to have new music around. It helps motivate kids I see to get moving!

    I love David because he appeals to kids. And besides, I have to out-do OT who have Backstreet Boys playing ;)

    Both my preteen granddaughter and teen granddaughter adore him. I am glad as he seems to have a great voice and be quite wholesome.
