Hickory Farms Serves Up Our Holiday Wishes

When I asked my boys what they wanted for Christmas this year, they each answered differently. "Cheese.  Sausage. Chocolate."

This is very fitting, because we had the chance to try a  Party Planner gift box from Hickory Farms, which had sausage and cheese in it (and some wonderful strawberry candies, mustards, and crackers.)  The boys were wild-eyed at the varieties of food and the pretty box that it came in. (To them, Christmas came early.)  My husband had actually received the box before I got home, and didn't know if it was ours to keep, or something that I had ordered as a gift (so he snuck out one sausage and rearranged the box to look like it wasn't missing!)

Needless to say, we enjoyed this gift box very much.  I'm a cheese lover, so I ate small bits of the cheese bricks over the next week, and my husband hogged up all the sausage.  The kids just wanted their share of the little strawberry candies!  And if we ever get the urge to indulge in the other gift that my kids asked for -- chocolate  -- guess what?  Hickory Farms has that, too!

As an extra-special treat, for every Party Planner gift box sold, Hickory Farms will donate $5 to Share our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign -- a super nonprofit that's helping to feed hungry kids in America. (Maximum donation of $500,000. Valid through 1/31/2011.)
