My kids are always bored. Craft projects take hours to prepare, and they fly through them in minutes! If you're frusterated with how short your kids' attention spans are, but want to incorporate fun craft projects into your day, you'll love the books that Klutz has to offer!
We recently took two of these clever sets on a test drive as part of a drizzly, cold homeschool day. The first we attempted was Capsters, a fun kit that lets you decorate bottle caps with custom designs for a neat collectible accessory. I loved that everything you needed was included in the kit, there were enough materials for all 4 of my kids to make some, and that the caps were special Klutz caps that had no sharp edges. We helped the younger kids squirt out the craft enamel, but they were really easy to do. Within 20 hours they were dry, giving us some uniquely made caps!
We also tried out the Window Art kit. This was even cooler. The kids traced out black outlines from the designs in the book, then filled them in with the colored paint. Within 24 hours they dried to create beautiful, reusable window clings that looked like stained glass! I especially appreciated that they gave you a handy hint to use freezer bags as additional page covers. Frugal and fun!
We love Klutz, and hope you enjoy learning more about their entire line at Klutz.com You can also save big by using coupon code KZ25 to get 25% off orders over $50. (Offers cannot be combined. Code expires 12/17.)
