Evenflo Video Makes Us Giggle (Giveaway)

I'm a sucker for commercials that show the true grit involved with parenting.  I'm especially fond of the new series of online videos from Evenflo that show "How to Make Nappy Time Happy Time."  Translation: The only time new parents (or old parents, like me) get to spend romantic time with their spouse is when the baby is napping -- or playing, as shown in this video.

I can vouch for the effectiveness of this method.  I actually just bought an Evenflo ExerSaucer for my 7-month old.  I don't think I'd get ANYTHING done without it.

For some innovative and off-the-wall parenting tips designed to make you laugh (and that can introduce you to some of the benefits of toys like the ExerSaucer), visit the video home page.

Wanna Win?  We have a cute baby t-shirt to give away from Evenflo!  (You can never have too many baby t's, right?) To be entered to win, just comment on this post with how you keep baby "distracted."  You have until January 28th at 11:59 pm CST to get your entries in. One per person, please!

Giveaway is open to U.S. 18+ only, and be sure to give us a way to contact you if you win! (Don't forget to enter our other free baby giveaways while you're here!)

  1. Mine's not a baby anymore, but my husband and I still have to distract her from time to time. We tell her to go play in her room by herself because she needs to learn how to do that (she's an only child and wants to be stuck like glue to Mommy and Daddy ALL the time!) She has plenty of books and puzzles to keep her happy while we get a break!

  2. An Elmo dvd always did the trick for my lil man! Also the swing was a big hit when he was a baby, I could get a couple house chores done while he rocked away in the swing and usually nodded off for a bit. :)

  3. I don't think I have found anything to distract babies enough to get anything done--I wait til naptime to do anything. Swings etc distracted them for a little bit but they still wanted me close by.

  4. I use to put mine in their little jumpy seat to watch shows like The Big Comfy Couch. My kids loved that. My best friend just had a baby and I was surprised to hear that show was still on. :)
