Review of Beech-Nut Homestyle Steamies (Giveaway!)

My baby is just starting to chow down the solids, but we're already looking ahead to the toddler months and the best foods for when he's a bit older.  One brand that we've always had a good experience with is Beech-Nut.

They just launched some new eats for toddlers called Homestyle Steamies.  They are a delicious, all-in-one meal with varieties like Macaroni & Cheese, Cheesy Lasagna, and Chicken Vegetable Stars.  They come in simple, resealable tubs that are microwavable AND BPA free (which is quite a relief, actually.)  While I don't usually buy all of my baby food from the store (I make quite a bit of my own), it is nice to have some options in the cupboard for when we travel, or for when the meal I serve has too much sodium or is too spicy for me to feel comfortable feeding my toddlers.  The Steamies from Beech-Nut happen to be made with natural ingredients and have no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives!

I thought that these meals were super convenient and great for packing into a diaper bag for Grandma's or even daycare (sometimes you just need to be sure that your child is eating well.)  If you don't have time to prepare a homemade meal, this seems like the next best thing!

You can read about the entire line at the Beech-Nut site!

Wanna Win?  We are giving away a super cool prize pack from Beech-Nut!  It includes:

  1. I give my great grandson dry cheerios to munch on when we are on the go

  2. It depends what meal we're missing at home. If it's just a little snack time, I give her the puffs/crunchies whatever you want to call them. Meal time is such a production, from premixing the oatmeal and measuring and putting it all in a mini cooler.

  19. We usually put a bunch of dry snacks into a ziplock container (animal crackers, goldfish, yogurt puffs, etc) or continue to use the jars of baby food that Jr. will still eat - he's grown sick of most of them.
