It's starting to warm up, but the cold weather won't be gone for long! If you've been enjoying your fireplace or wood stove, but sometimes need a quick way to get a fire going, you'll love Duraflame's new Stax Logs. They look like bundles of wood you can purchase at a grocery store or gas station, and the small packages will start and burn one fire. (They look and sound like real crackling wood, too.)
Here is what I LOVE about this product:
They take just minutes to build, and you don't have to scout around or cut wood. They are great for burning outdoors! Just three Stax logs are needed for the entire night's fire. Compare that to a 30-pound bundle of wood! I have also learned that they emit less pollutants than wood fires.
As someone who has burned a wood stove for heat, these are an appealing option to those nights when I don't want to tend to the fire or can't get a fire started by myself. (Sometimes, I need the hubby's help.) I think they would make a nice fire for an evening when you just want to relax, or for an emergency stash for if the gas heating goes out. They can start in a jiffy, warming everyone up in minutes!
