Baby Marcus is turning one next week, and what better way to celebrate his Birthday AND the new season than with a cool new sandbox!
We were asked by Walmart to find a way to help baby enjoy the new warmer weather, and I knew he would love this Step2 Little Dunes Sandbox we ordered from Walmart.com:
We set it up in seconds (literally: you just take it out of the box), and we filled it with one bag of play sand. (We could have probably done two, but Marcus wouldn't really be any more impressed.
He likes to eat the sand.
The older boys got in right away and "helped" him play. They enjoyed sitting on the built in seats along the edges, and I like that the top set on nicely to protect from bugs, rain, and the dog!
This was an affordable way to create more activity options for the baby and the rest of the family. I wish we would have gotten one last year!
Do you have a sandbox? What tips do you have for creating fun moments in the sand?
