When baby gets sick, it is no fun for ANYONE. Just when I thought my son had grown out of staying up all night, he started to get his first case of sniffles and cold last month, but I was glad we were semi-prepared. This month, we headed to Walmart, to be certain that we had every item we needed for a potential case of fall cold and flu. Here are a few of the things we recommend to have on hand BEFORE baby gets sick:
- Infant acetaminophen and ibuprofen (check with your doctor for proper dosage for infants under 2 years of age.)
- Vicks Baby Rub
- Gripe Water
- Warm-mist humidifier
- Oral thermometer
- Saline spray (for the nose)
- Vicks menthol liquid for the humidifier
