Walmart's Christmas Price Guarantee Explained

By now, I'm sure you've seen the Walmart commercials offering to match a competitor's sale price on holiday gift purchases -- even AFTER the purchase has been made.  Walmart makes is super-easy to be sure you always get the best deal without having to shop around OR wait until just the right moment on what you think may be the lowest price of the season.

Their policy is pretty simple:

"If a customer buys an eligible product at Walmart anytime between Nov. 1 and Dec. 25, and then finds that same product advertised for less at another store, Walmart will give the customer a gift card for the difference through Dec. 25. Guaranteed."

You just need to bring in your original Walmart cash register receipt and a copy of the local competitor's printed ad during the effective sale dates to the Walmart Customer Service Desk, and they'll hook you up with a gift card for the value of the difference.  You don't even need to bring the product in!  (This offer is not good for food or grocery items, and can't be compared with black Friday sale ad or online prices.)

I think that if I found an items for lower somewhere else, I'd use the gift card I got as a stocking stuffer.  How about you?
