New Dinosaur Trackers Online Club!

We have always been big fans of the Dinosaur Train series from PBS, and it's probably because my kids love exploring and learning in nontraditional ways!  Last November, the show challenged kids to research nature in the great outdoors and helped them out with special Nature Trackers Club episodes.

Even though the episodes have already aired, the fun of learning can continue with a new online component!  Since we homeschool and use online learning quite a bit in our "classroom", we though it would fit in perfectly with our routine!  The Nature Trackers Club allows parents to learn alongside their kids, download monthly activities, and enter to win prizes.

Parents can download monthly nature-related activities to complete with their children, and collect rewards along the way!  This month's challenge is to make a windsock, and the website gives you all the information you need to make it easy.  There is also a section to help parents direct kids in learning as you go through the activity.  I really appreciate that the activities are flexible, but focused enough for parents who may have difficulty coming up with lesson plans on their own.

You don't need to homeschool to enjoy the Nature Trackers Club -- just have kids who love to learn.  Get started with their free printable guide book, and have your children complete all four challenges to get their very own collectible token!
