Mom gifts are all anyone is talking about right now -- as it should be! With Mother's Day just a little over a week away, I know I have my list of "must-have" items. In partnership with Walmart, my faves can actually be ordered online to arrive in time for the big day:
Muppets
Yes, the new release of The Muppets is on my wish list, but if my kids really want to show me they care, they'll snag some of the old Muppets Show TV episodes via the complete first, second, and third seasons on DVD -- then sit and watch them with me! Not only is reminiscing about my childhood something that will make me feel better about getting older, it will help me to remember that being a mom can be fun.
Chocolate
I have to have some holiday chocolate, but not ANY chocolate will do. My hubby knows to get my favorite: Ferrero Rocher, and he has been getting me this chocolate for every special occasion since I can remember. This Ferrero Rocher Prestige Pack has three different kinds to choose from. (I can't get enough of the white chocolate coconut -- so it's a good thing there are only 8 in the package.)
Keurig Elite Brewer
I am totally in love with my B60 Single Cup Brewer, but if anything were to happen to it, this B40 would do nicely. I recommend the Keurig brewer to anyone who is looking for the perfect gift for their coffee-loving mom. The unit brews to the perfect temp, and the assortment of coffees, teas, ciders, and cocoas available for the system is generous. (If you want to tie up the gift with the perfect add in, might I suggest some homemade biscotti?)
Ronco Food Dehydrator
I have had this dehydrator for a couple of years, and it is the simplest to use! I would love to have another one for when we have really big batches of cherries (I love drying cherries with my Ronco), and I can imagine I might be able to keep up with my family's demand for dried banana chips, homemade fruit leather, and decorative chili pepper wreaths, too! If you've never used a dehydrator, or need a super quiet one to use in your kitchen this summer, I recommend this unit -- it's also very affordable!
KitchenAid Stand Mixer
Can you believe I don't have one of these yet? If anyone out there is reading this (*hint.. hint*), I find it to be adorable. I'm also certain it might inspire me to make those creme puffs SOMEONE has been asking me for lately. (The plain ol' white one with the shredding attachment should just about make my Mother's Day!)
These are just a few of the gifts on my list this Mother's Day -- all available at Walmart.com. What about you? Now's your chance to drop a hint in the comments!
