Lately, many companies look at holidays as a great time to offer freebies to entice new customers or reward current customers.  I will take the freebies—I may or may not become a regular customer.  J  If you are looking for some frugal fun on the days leading up to the 4^th and on the 4^th itself, check out some of these deals:

Food Freebies and Discounts

• ·         If you need your coffee fix in the morning, treat yourself to a free tall hot brewed coffee at Starbuck’s on the 4^th of July.
• ·         Hardee’s and Carl Jr.’s prove you don’t get anything completely for free.  They are offering a free grilled cheese bacon burger IF you dress up like Spiderman (no mask, please).  This offer is valid on Independence Day for the first 50 customers per location.
• ·         While not a freebie, Spaghetti Warehouse is offering three entrees at $5, so you can feed 4 for $20.
• ·         Boston Market is offering 50% off any of their Family Meal’s on the 4^th of July with this coupon. Perfect if you want to have a picnic but want to have your own independence from the kitchen!
• ·         Get 50% off at Papa John’s when you order a regularly priced item online and use the code PARTY50.  (Offer expires July 4^th.)

Military Freebies

If you are an active, inactive or retired military service member, get free admission to the following theme parks:

• ·         Carowinds Theme Park in Charlotte, North Carolina (free admission July 3 and 4 with military I.D.)
• ·         Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia (free admission July 3 and 4 with military I.D.)
• ·         Kings Island in Kings Island, Ohio (free admission July 3 and 4 with military I.D.)
• ·         Knott’s Berry Farm and Knott’s Soak City in Buena Park, California (free admission July 2^nd through 6^th to active and retired military service members with a military I.D.)

Educational Freebies for Kids

If you homeschool or just want to keep the kids entertained while waiting for the fireworks, there are many great freebies to be had.

• ·         Get a free pocket Constitution for only the price of shipping .65.  This is a good way to bring history alive for your kids and encourage understanding of why we celebrate the 4^th of July.
• ·         Get free4th of July crafts and recipes from Fave Crafts to enjoy with your family.
• ·         Help your child be patriotic all year long with a free 4^th of July American flag sticker.
