I grew up a bit of a tomboy, and my 13-year-old daughter followed in my footsteps. "Doing hair" isn't really a popular activity at my house, especially when our frenzied days leave us with little time for it.
There is one area of our lives, however, that we really like to get festive for. Sporting events (specifically my daughter's volleyball games) are a great opportunity to wear the team colors, even in our hair!
