We have purchased our share of plain, college-ruled notebooks for the season, and usually the kids just color on the fronts and personalize them as they wish. For my teenage daughter, however, I was excited to give her a selection of school supplies from the new DaySpring line, now available at at Walmart.
DaySpring, in case you are not familiar, is a division of Hallmark that is also the world's largest Christian-message product provider. This particular line offers a range of styles that I would consider both "feminine" and "boy trendy", as well as the two styles that I picked to fit my daughter's "neutral" taste in decor. Below is the "Make Noise" design of spiral-bound notebook and three ring binder. It is based on Psalm 98: 4-6:
Here is the "All Creation Sings" design of spiral bound notebook and file folders, based on Revelation 5:13.
Walmart currently offers these and the rest of the line as a way for kids to express themselves both in school and extracurricular activities; I really like that they are simple expressions of faith that range in bold to "not too showy" and have a very good taste in design trends. I would imagine that kids would be safe taking these supplies to any setting and can share their faith in a tasteful way. (What a fun way to start a conversation!)
In addition to offering the binders and notebooks, DaySpring also makes smaller journal sized notebooks and pencil cases. There is likely to be a design that fits your child's personality perfectly!
If you want to know more about DaySpring, I recommend you check out their website. You can also find these products in a Walmart store near you!
