Update on Our First Flush and a Chance to Win!

We told you a while back that we would be working with our son Marcus on his potty training.  In theory, he is very willing to do as we say; he will sit on the potty, answer questions about whether he has a wet diaper, and has even started to say things like "I'm poopy."

Unfortunately, this is still a long ways away from actually sitting on the potty and going.  He seems to be more role-playing than actually doing anything.  We remain patient, however, as we know that this is still a very important first step towards the ultimate goal of staying clean and dry throughout the day -- and, eventually, the night.

Regardless of where you are at in your potty training project, there are still ways to get involved in celebrating your kid getting bigger.
On January 29th, Pull-Ups is throwing a larger than life potty training celebration in Times Square to help parents and tots kick-off potty training the right way. With a giant potty, live performers and a spectacular light-up billboard celebration, parents and tots can experience the excitement first hand as they prepare to celebrate one of the biggest milestones in a child’s transition from baby to Big Kid™ - their First Flush.
To help make the big event more exciting, parents have an opportunity to enter to win a trip to the most magical family getaway destination on earth, as well as have their moment featured on the Times Square billboard during the January 29 party.  To be entered to win, just visit this Facebook page, provide your contact info, and let Pull-Ups know how you plan on celebrating your child's First Flush.

We will continue to work on Marcus's progress, as well as plan for a party we will be holding this weekend to celebrate our (hopefully) First Flush with other parents in our community.  Stay tuned for fun photos of our event!

*I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and to host a party. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
