Review of Post Sesame Street Cereal

I'm addicted to sugary cereals, and I know I should eat better. I also want better for my kids, so I try to start them out with foods that are more natural, less sweet, and full of good things.  (I figure that they have plenty of years ahead of them to spoil their appetites.)

Post has now come out with a fun cereal aimed at toddlers, but I think it's good enough for the whole family!  Sesame Street cereal is available in 2 flavors.  I hesitate to call them "flavors" at all, because they really are a very mild essence of apple and banana.  They are not sweet like you would expect from a traditional "flavored" cereal, and I appreciate that.  Both cereals contain 110 calories per serving have over 20g of whole grain, and are made from oats and corn.  The cereal pieces are shaped like x's and o's, and the boxes feature Sesame Street characters on the front!

This is a good "snacking" cereal for on the couch, in the car, or anywhere you want to take along a portable, mess-free snack.  My son really enjoys this cereal.  He's 3 now, so he's starting to "request" things; this cereal is one thing I can count on him eating -- even on his fussy days!
