I'm sure you're familiar with flaxseed; we've added it to smoothies, cereal, and baked goods for over a year. It wasn't until my husband asked that I add it to our grilled burgers, however, that I realized just how versatile this food can be!
Linwoods Superfoods Ground Organic Flaxseed is so finely ground, that it was easy to mix it up into our hamburger patties with the following recipe:
- 2 lbs hamburger
- 1 egg
- 1 package french onion soup mix
- 3 tablespoons flaxseed
My family loves hamburgers this way, and I feel good knowing there is some added goodness in the recipe. They are more filling, as well, which means everyone eats less and the meat goes farther!
