Review of Ingenuity Washable Playard

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Kids II. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

I was really expecting that I would have a baby in my arms by the time I wrote this review... but we are still waiting!

Excited for the arrival of baby #6, we put together our Ingenuity Washable Playard in Whimsical Wonders pattern today, even though our scheduled c-section isn't until the 3rd.  This is the 4th playard I've owned as a mom, and I'm excited for many of the new features that haven't been made available on other models!

First, let me tell you about the features I was expecting.  This yard has a bassinet attachment for younger babies to sleep in, a diaper changing station, and a diaper changing pad.  One thing I noticed right away is that the sides of the diaper changing pad are higher than other play yards.  This gives a little more added safety to the area, although you still should never leave your infant on the station alone.

There is an adorable "mobile" hanging toy bar.  Just look at the detail on this little lion's face!

I'm so in love with the designs on the entire yard, especially on the surface of the mat.  It's so modern yet classic, don't you think?  (I usually buy play pen sheets to cover the surface of my play yards, but this is too cute to cover!)

Super mobile and taking up less space than a crib, changing table, and bassinet, this product was easy to assemble.  I had my teen daughter put it together since I get so out of breath these days.

This product is perfect for the needs of our soon-to-be-here little one, but I almost forgot to tell you about the most AMAZING feature of this playard.  It's washable!  That's right; you'll no longer have to "surface clean" the gross hand prints and who-knows-what from the sides and bottom of the playard.  Any surface that baby touches can be taken off and washed.  Isn't that exciting?
