Review of Active D'Lites

At a recent pediatrician visit for my 4-month-old son, the doctor mentioned that I should be taking probiotics and prebiotics for better health (and better health for my nursing son, too!)  I looked into taking some pretty big pills, and then I was asked to try something a bit more palatable...  Active D'Lites!

These non-GMO, low carb, and no sugar added treats are sweetened with stevia and contain between 10 and 20 billion probiotics  per serving.  They look and taste like chocolate candies, and have a variety of "fillings" in them to satisfy your sweet tooth and give you a little extra fiber, too.  (Between 3-9 grams of fiber, to be exact!)

I had originally planned on taking photos, but -- if you could believe it -- these were gobbled up quickly at my house.  I preferred the mint and coconut DailyBites (the small truffle-sized pieces).  My husband, however, really enjoyed the almond bars (3x the product in wrapped for a larger snack.)

If you don't care for dark chocolate or very high concentrations of cacao, you might find these harder to eat.  I actually prefer milk chocolate, but found the filled DailyBites to be quite tasty with their yummy centers.

Priced at about $1 a serving, they are competitive when compared to many of the premium "pill" products on the market.  To find out more about all of the flavors, visit the Active D'Lites website!
