My kids dig chocolate milk. Alot. In fact, we often take the regular chocolate milk and dilute it with regular skim milk so that they save on calories and don't blow through the entire gallon before we know it. While we really don't care how much skim milk they drink, we do want to be steady with our use of extra flavoring.
Since the introduction of MilkSplash to our home, however, we've been able to let up. The product, new to Target stores, lets kids flavor their milk with one of a variety of options, ranging from Cookies 'N Cream to Orange Cream Dream. With just a squirt (a small one -- this stuff is strong!), they can transform regular milk into something of a treat, without extra calories. The MilkSplash products are sweetened with a non-calorie sweetener we approve of, and they really do taste pretty delicious!
Here is my Marcus drinking his Cookies N' Cream MilkSplash in his favorite cup. (He insists on drinking only from this mug I got at a thrift store -- with a straw, of course.)
