Review of GoneReading T-shirts

We love books.

As a homeschooling mom who writes for a living and reads to her kids for fun, we place a high value on good literature.  Not junk.  Not all classics.  But just the good stuff.

My kids have a varied reading list, our homeschool education is entrenched in the values of Charlotte Mason (see a sample kindergarten homeschool curriculum), and we encourage our kids to read -- not just the bestsellers for their age group -- but those books that they can enjoy for a lifetime.

Right now, for example, we are reading the original Alice and the Looking Glass (or Alice in Wonderland as you know it).  We are enjoying this gripping read, with full color illustrations from the 40's!

If you are also a book lover, I am so happy to share a company that speaks your language.  It is called GoneReading, and they have a large assortment of reading-themed gifts for all ages.  We reviewed a t-shirt from them, and has become one of my favorite tees.

The shirt itself is fitted for women, but not "slim-fitted", meaning normal sized women and moms can wear it without feeling chunky.  It is a very thick material made from 100% cotton, so the shirt will last a long time without wearing thin or getting holes. It is also pre-shrunk, so you don't have to "size up" to get a good fit after washing. The printing on the shirt is there for the long haul, too; no peeling screen prints here!

"Read. Great. Books." shirt is only available in red at the moment, but it's striking!

GoneReading offers a 100% Money-Back Guarantee and has pledged 100% of after-tax profits to fund reading related charities in the developing world. Funding recipients include non-profits READ Global and Ethiopia READS.
