How to Make a Duck Tape Bow-tie (Video)

My daughter is a huge fan of a certain sci-fi "Doctor" who travels through time.  (I think you know who I am referring to.)  Needless to say, her and her fanatic friends know that "bowties are cool."  When I gave her the chance to do her very own craft project for the blog, using Duck Brand tape, she knew exactly what she wanted to do.

Using one roll of tape, a box cutter (or exacto knife), and a ruler, we put together this video:

(My daughter has a sweet 16 coming up where we are having some custom bowties done.  We will also have some of these homemade tape ties by the front door for guests to put on.  It will be FANTASTIC!)

The great thing about this project, is that you can use any of the available patterns of tape Duck makes.  Walmart stores currently sells quite a few styles, but they have even more online for that perfect look!

As a participant in the Walmart Moms Program, I've received compensation for my time and efforts in creating this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  1. These are so cute! I have a ton of Duck patterns I bought marked down to .50 at Walmart including that mac and cheese print. I'm going to make dog collar bows now!
