Plum Organics: One Pouch = One Balanced Meal

My son is now 9 months old, and he's not very interested in "baby food." Most single-ingredient foods bore him, and he loves eating things with his fingers.  Even though he's very ambitious with his menu, it's difficult to get him a balanced meal with all of food being dropped in his lap or thrown on the floor.

Plum Organics, a brand of baby food and snacks that is available at Walmart, has come out with a clever way to deliver 4 food groups via one yummy puree!

Mighty 4 is an essential nutrition blend that's easy to eat! My son has mastered drinking the food from the pouch, and it needs no refrigeration prior to opening.  My son's favorite kind is the one with kale, strawberry, amaranth, and greek yogurt.  While the kale is a little strong in the food (I tasted it), my son thinks nothing of it, and I'm happy to know that -- even on days when he is finicky -- I can deliver a balanced meal in minutes!

The other Plum food he adores is the Little Yums Organic Teething Wafers in Pumpkin and Banana.  These teething wafers aren't messy like the ones we ate growing up, and they dissolve easily.  They are full of good stuff, not just flour and sugar.

My son has one of these each day, and my dog has learned to hang around in case he drops it!

We have also enjoyed the Yogurt Mish-Mash pouches, the Little Cremes, and the Teensy Fruits! There are products for babies as young as 4 months -- all the way up to toddlers.  My older kids even like eating some of their nutritious snacks when we are out and about and don't have access to fresh fruits and veggies.

While selection varies by store, Walmart has both of these products and an assortment of other Plum Organics items in store and online, starting at just $1.38 each.  You can follow all the new things Plum is doing via their Facebook page (they even have a money-saving coupon for you right now).
