Review of Dr. Mercola Body Lotion and Body Wash

Ask anyone if they want more or less chemical ingredients in their personal care products, and you'd probably get a "less" each and every time.  That's because, as a society, we are using the power of information like never before to become informed about what we eat, drink, and use on our bodies.  It's a good thing, but it can leave a gaping hole in our daily routines when we can't find products that meet our expectations of good and natural.

Dr. Mercola, a popular name in good-for-you news and products, has shared two pretty impressive items with us to try in our home.  The first, an Organic Body Wash, is freshly scented, but light on the "perfume".  It is certified organic by the USDA, and it does a heck of a job at scrubbing up dirty skin without leaving it feel stripped of important oils.  This is especially important in the winter time, when my skin becomes scaly and dry.  I also highly recommend it for family members who struggle with eczema and dermatitis.

For follow-up care, the Unscented Organic Body Lotion is a must-have.  It's consistency is quite different than other greasy lotions.  It's soaks in within seconds, leaving behind only more supple, soft, and elastic skin.  I love putting this on my dry, cracked hands after doing dishes or on my feet overnight. It contains good things like Shea butter, Jojoba Seed Oil, Aloe, and Green Tea Leaf Extracts.

Both are available from the Dr. Mercola website.
