Air Storm Firetek Bow Puts a New Spin on an Old Classic

My sons are forever and always asking for a bow and arrow. And while someday we will venture down that road and make sure each of them know how to handle one safely... that day isn't here yet.

In the meantime, I have had my eyes on one of the coolest toys I have ever seen, and it happens to be a Chosen by Kids top pick at Walmart!  It's the Air Storm Firetek Bow, and I first saw it in action at a trip to the Walmart HQ.  It's an easy-to-fire bow with soft, foam darts.  Both the bow and the darts light up, and the darts even whistle as they fly!

This toy is so very fun!  I didn't hesitate to pick up 2 for my kids during Walmart's online sales, and then I was sent one to try out.  As you can see from the photos below, this product has everything you need to get kids outside and shooting and running!  The light up features make it easy to find the "arrows" after they are fired.

As with any point and shoot toy, you'll want to lay down some ground rules. (I know we'll be having the "don't aim at your brother's face" talk more than once.)  With three of these in the house, I'm hoping I get a chance to play often, too!

Most of the "classic" toys each year have improvements made to them, and some are more impressive than others.  The Firetek Bow is one of those that I think has got it right!  From the durable construction to the super cool effects, I can't see any boy (or girl) not enjoying this gift under the tree this holiday season!

You can still snag one in green or red before Christmas at your local Walmart!

If you are on a tight budget, consider Walmart's layaway program details to see how you can get the toys you want now -- before they sell out -- and pick them up before the holidays.  You can also use the Savings Catcher app to get the lowest price on toys you buy, or use the Ad Match Guarantee to match any advertised competitor's price on the hottest toys!
