We laughed and laughed. And once in awhile, I almost cried. That's because the newest release for families -- "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" -- is really that much like real life.
The film follows a typical American set of parents, played by Jennifer Garner and Steve Carrel, as they navigate what may be the WORST day in their lives. All of it came about after Alexander, who seems to always have a terrible day, wishes on a birthday cupcake that his family understands what it's like to keep having bad days.
First, it's no diapers. Then, it's car problems. Next, comes a call from the principle. You get the idea.
The shenanigans continue with vomit, fire, and a car wreck, but it all ends up with the perfect ending that will have families remembering what really counts at the end of a stressful day!
This movie is the perfect way to spend Valentine's Day with the kiddos. It's fresh, funny, and so true -- even in its ridiculousness! We also have a little toolkit to help you plan for a full evening of activities. Just click on the graphic below to download it now!
Alexander is now available today on Blu-ray, Disney Movies Anywhere and Digital HD. You can find it where videos are sold and Amazon.com!
