Bringing Books to Life: The New Trailer for The Longest Ride

Nicholas Sparks has done it again, writing a book that just had to be a movie.  I've seen the trailer for The Longest Ride (due in theaters April 10th), and I admit that I was all #feels.

You can check it out here:

If you haven't read the book (I admit to not having had the chance yet), here's a bit more of the storyline:
Based on the bestselling novel by master storyteller Nicholas Sparks, THE LONGEST RIDE centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke, a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia, a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City’s art world. As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira, whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple. Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, THE LONGEST RIDE explores the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.

I'm looking forward to seeing the cast of characters in this one. (Did you know that leading actress Britt Robertson was one of 7 children and homeschooled?)  I'm especially excited to see Alan Alda!

We'll be having a fun giveaway for this movie very soon, but -- in the meantime -- you can follow along with news and updates via The Longest Ride's Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram and YouTube accounts.  And don't forget to visit the Official Website!
