The Baby Nursery I Never Had, Now at an Affordable Price!

I have had 6 kids, and -- with each of their births -- I was certain that it would be the birth that would be greeted with a nursery.  We had moved four time with our kids, however, and the dream of a matchy-matchy nursery with fashionable furniture, and a comfy place to nurse my baby never happened.  I still like to dream, however, and whenever one of my friends announces a little one, I gush over the prints and patterns of today's nursery trends!

Just take this Lolly and Me Color Me 3-in-1 Convertible Lifestyle Crib.  It comes in five hot colors, including Lollipop Red, Bubble Gum Pink, and Tiffany Blue (shown in photo.) I don't know what you'd expect to pay for something this chic, but the price at Walmart is just $179.98 on Rollback right now!  This is a piece of furniture that lasts longer than baby's first days; it has 3 mattress heights and coverts from a crib into a toddler bed and a daybed!

To complete the look, you can now also get a matching changing table ($99)!

If you only want to accent your baby's nursery with a comfy ride, something more neutral, with just a pop of color via this Kelcie rocker and ottoman ($329.98) might do the trick.  I was so tired from feeding my babies; something this plush might have given me a few more minutes of shut-eye -- sitting up!

Since all of these nursery items are really more for mom than baby, it's important that my "dream" nursery contained a few items just for the little one.  I'm a big fan of velboa blankets (they are so plushy), and this Pinwheel Chevron printed blankie matches my blue color theme so nicely. Plus, it's just $12.98!

Now that I'm done having babies, I no longer dream of having my own nursery. That doesn't mean that I don't love looking at all the new things available.  Some day, I'll be a grandma, and I would love to dote on my little grandbabies with soft and stylish nursery staples that make parenting easier.

Which color trends can you not get enough of this year? What was your first baby nursery like?  Be sure you include Walmart.com in your decorating plans. Their free shipping on orders over $50 make it easy for busy expecting moms (and dads) to deck out the nursery with no fuss, and the easy returns process guarantee you'll be happy with your purchase!
