I have always been a big fan of the Klutz books for kids. They have a reading component, sure. But they are best for their ability to bring creativity and easy DIY activities to kids of all ages and skills. We received a set of 5 Klutz books to try in our home, and by far the favorite was the string art book. As you can see, our first project turned out very well. It took my 12-year-old about 30 minutes to put together this pretty heart for me!
Klutz books are a good value, because they come with all the components needed to complete dozens of projects. And all of the instructions are laid out nicely, with photos and tips, so that kids can do most of them on their own!
What makes these books even more exciting is that the end result doesn't have to be just another craft, kids can actually make handmade gifts for the holiday seasons that are of high-quality and will be enjoyed much more than anything they can buy in the stores!
To show just how much we think kids should go "handmade for the holidays", we are happy to help giveaway five Klutz books to give kids a head-start in their endeavors. The winner will receive the following books:
Shrink & Link Jewelry
Make reusable, transferable, dimensional pendants and attach them to a ring or a necklace. Use the over 50 traceable designs - and then mix and match them for a limitless wardrobe of unique, colorful jewelry!

ReplyDeleteMy step daughter have done tons of crafts together over the years, it's one of thr things we most enjoy doing together, I've bought her many of these books but amazingly enough we don't yet own any of these five, I can't decide which she would love the most, but I know we would have fun with all five books. Thanks for the chance to win, we would really enjoy these
