The day I have been waiting for is finally here! I was so happy to spend the day watching the pilot episode with my boys of the new Netflix and DreamWorks series Voltron: Legendary Defender! We celebrated my 6-year-old's birthday by watching this exciting new show. The kids were so impressed, and I'm happy that I now have something from my childhood that is rebooted for their tastes!
Since today was a birthday and I'm a big Voltron fan, I'd thought I would share instructions for Voltron-themed cupcakes. These are so cool; we had them at the DreamWorks press event that I was able to attend in advance of the Voltron premiere. Your kids will really like them!
I also thought I'd share a new clip of the show with you, so you can get an idea of how this series perfectly mixes nostalgia with modern-day animation. It's brilliant! In it, Shiro faces off with baddie Sendak... it's pretty intense!
