5 Ways to Enjoy Iced Coffee this Summer

It's hot! But that doesn't mean I have to stop drinking my coffee. In fact, I always keep Community Coffee in my cupboard (I order lots around the time they make their King Cake variety available). This summer, they sent me some of their Mocha Vanilla iced coffee k-cup pods so that I could brew my own iced coffee at home!

Here are some of my favorite ways to drink it:

1. Straight Up. That's right. This brew is so rich and indulgent that I can enjoy it over ice, as is. No need to add anything!

2. With a touch of creme and sugar. Heavy whipping cream (just a dollop) and a bit of sugar makes it velvety and smooth. This is almost like dessert.

3. Blended. Make it extra festive by crushing the ice cubes up before brewing, then giving it a quick spin in the blender. Get a big, fat straw to drink it through.

4. With whipped cream and sprinkles. A little whipped topping (only made with real milk) and a few cupcake sprinkles makes it an affordable version of that fancy drink you get from the coffee place. Save some bucks and have another.

5. With a friend. That's right. I can't drink it alone. I have to make one for my hubby or my oldest son. We enjoy coffee as a family at our house!

Also, be sure to check out their Military Match program. We've done this in the past, and it's a great way to support our troops.  When you buy 4 select coffee products, Community Coffee will match an additional four items and send the entire 8 products to the APO/FPO or military base address you provide. They'll even send a free mug!
