Chocolate. Who can live without it? I certainly appreciate it more as I get older, and I'm especially impressed with artisan ingredients and unique flavor combos. I think Seattle Chocolates had my number, because they graciously offered me three bars to try this month. My experience was pretty much perfect!
The bars that we tried included:
Lemon Ice White Chocolate Truffle Bar - This was a white chocolate bar that was especially creamy. It had the tiniest little pieces of lemon candies (think citrusy, but not sour). It was a very refreshing and light dessert experience. As a white chocolate lover, I think this may have been my favorite!
PB&J Dark Chocolate Truffle Bar - I normally do not care for dark chocolate. But since this bar had the most delicate layer of all-natural peanut butter throughout (and these amazing "pops" of dried strawberry jam), I had to give it a try. This was my husband's favorite bar, and I admit to eating over half of it. (How's that for someone who doesn't usually eat dark chocolate?)
Campers S'Mores Milk Chocolate Bar - Finally, this bar was for everyone. Milk chocolate, marshmallows, and the faintest hint of graham make this the bar that went fast in our family. It's ever-so-slightly crunchy and perfect with a cup of coffee. How delicious!
These bars are just a few of the offerings that Seattle Chocolates have to share with the world. I'm pretty much hooked on the quality of the ingredients -- who doesn't like all-natural? And 19 everyday bar flavors and 14 seasonal bar flavors (33 total) that they make bear the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ cocoa seal. So you can feel good while you indulge. And for every purchase you make with them, they will give a donation equivalent to one meal to a hunger charity!
