Celebrate National Coffee Day with Community Coffee!

I drink between 3 and 4 cups of coffee a day. It's something I've done most of my life, as I'm a Dane and I grew up drinking coffee with milk from the time I was a small child!

Today, I'm old enough to pick out my flavors, and when I want something extra special, I'll order the seasonal varieties from the Community Coffee website. I've been a customer for years, ever since I discovered their King Cake seasonal flavor (it usually sells out very fast!)

Now that they've expanded their offerings to include K-cups, I can make a whole pot for my family, or selfishly drink a solo cup in my corner office.

What's new in coffee? Well, today is National Coffee Day, so I was very excited to break open the new bag of Pumpkin Praline, which is a sweet and nutty fall flavor I think you'll really enjoy. I plan on making some regular hot coffees with it, but I also think an iced coffee would be great, as well!

It's not as spicy as some fall or pumpkin flavors, but rather has a southern praline profile that is super yummy. Try it if you like the idea of pumpkin, but haven't been impressed with other brands you've tried. And, if you aren't into flavored coffees, I highly recommend the dark roast ground. It's your standard rich roast that pretty much everyone will enjoy.

Something new to me this year was the Bread Pudding flavors. That's right, the dish I remember eating on the farm as a child in the 80's almost every weekend is a coffee flavor. It's pretty delicious, and even if you're not sure if you fall into the "raisin" or "no raisin" camp, you'll like the slightly sweet and cinnamon tones.

What will you do to celebrate National Coffee Day today? If you're looking for something extra special, I suggest checking out the Military Match program. We've done this in the past, and it's a great way to support our troops. When you buy 4 select coffee products, Community Coffee will match an additional four items and send the entire 8 products to the APO/FPO or military base address you provide. They'll even send a free mug!
