Halloween is almost here, and I know that the temptation is to buy some cheap retail-store costume. I encourage you to rethink the impulse buy, however, and get your child a costume that can be a toy long after the holiday is over!
We were asked to review the Aeromax My 1st Career Gear Robotic Engineer shirt and Robot Helmet, and I am so glad we did. This is our 2nd Aeromax helmet (we reviewed the astronaut helmet quite awhile ago. And our first experience with them was way back in 2010!) These products are so sturdy; my kids are still playing with their first helmet!
You can see that Marcus loves dressing up in the shirt. It goes on in seconds, and is easy to fasten. It has realistic looking details (employee badge holder, pretend windup handle in back). It's easy to keep clean, but you can wash it, if needed.
The helmet just adds an extra touch. It's roomy inside and the shield flips up and down. I really like that we can wear it out Trick-or-Treating this year, but that the boys will keep it in their dress-up closet for active robot play year-round. (Currently, dressing up is something that they love to do. Aeromax has all kinds of products to support their imaginations.)
