All-New Moana Movie Toys, Clips, and Activities -- Plus a Giveaway! {EXPIRED}

My boys were over the moon for the Disney movie Moana. (You can see our Moana movie review here.) So, when we received a big box of goodies from the Disney team to have our kids try out, I knew they would be thrilled. We received a little something for everyone:




  • A Moana coffee mug - My 13-year-old claimed this instantly for his morning latte.
  • A Moana glitter cup - My 6-year-old now drinks his milk from this sparkly glass.
  • A Moana singing necklace - Manny, our toddler won't take this off. He loves singing along to it and showing it to everyone.
  • A Pua and Hei Hei Talking Plush set - The three-year-old has now added Pua and Hei Hei to his bed each night. He won't go to sleep without "chicken."
  • Maui's Magical Fish Hook - Marcus loves this thing. I made him take it outside to play with, however. He gets a bit crazy with it.



The boys had a great time venturing out in warmer weather with their Moana toys. If your child is a fan, I would recommend them as gifts or just imaginative accessories to re-enacting their favorite parts of them movie. (And can you tell that someone is dressing himself? I have no idea where he got the throw-back colorblock wind jacket, but it goes well with his Moana necklace!)

    I haven't see the movie itself but I have seen the trailer and I think Maui would be my favorite character in the movie. Just seems he is going to have most of the humor in the movie and I like that. Laughter is good for everyone.

    I liked Tamatoa, the villainous gigantic coconut crab even though he was a bad guy. I just loved his sparkly encrusted shell and kept hoping he would find redemption.
