Doing dishes takes up so much time -- especially with so many kids in our house! If you're at a place where you feel like you could be something better with your time, a dishwasher upgrade is a must!
Let me tell you about a newcomer to the dishwasher market that you'll want to know about before you make your pick.
The Bosch 500 Series dishwasher, with AutoAir, is a unique machine that has big families in mind. The 24" inch width can accommodate up to 16 place settings; even small families and couples will find it perfect for entertaining and those big baking days where just about every bowl and spoon is dirty!
If you don't know about AutoAir, you should. It is a nifty feature that automatically releases the door at the end of the cycle to let moisture escape and fresh air in for drier dishes*.
Unique storage for all your dishes
Since not every load is the same, why wash them all the same? The Bosch 500 has five different cycles to handle each load in the right way. You can ask for different levels of washing (from a light wash to those icky pots and pans) and specify if you want Extra Dry, too. Wash those really gross dishes and baby bottles with the sanitize option; it reduces 99.9% of bacteria with a hot-wash rinse.
I know what it's like to wash big pots and pans, tall trays, and super-long utensils. The Bosch comes with a flexible 3rd rack that can be added to cycles so that you can safely wash those odd-shaped items, too. The adjustable tines make room for tall and deep dishes and accessories. It's great for those of us who can or preserve foods and have a weird assortment of juicing trays, steaming dishes, and those attachments that go onto the food processor or mixer. Even if you don't use the 3rd rack, the existing racks adjust to 3 different height levels for up to 9 different rack positions. You'll never waste space because things just didn't fit.
Protect your home and your hearing
Finally, if you're like me and just put in new laminate floors (or just don't want to see what you have get ruined,) you have to know about the awesome 24/7 Aquastop® perk. I didn't even know something like this existed before researching this dishwasher. It offers a 4-part leak prevention system that uses sensors to detect leaks and stop them before big trouble happens. It can even turn on by itself!
