Turkey and Gravy Potato Chips? It's a Thing!

Who doesn't remember the hilarious scene in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when Violet Beauregarde snatches a piece of gum and experiences a full holiday dinner? Well, we don't have anything quite like that to tell you about, but we do have an amazingly delicious way to celebrate the holidays with a crunchy and satisfying kettle chip!

Boulder Canyon Authentic Foods sent us two bags of their Kettle Cooked Potato Chips to try, and I did NOT want to share. These chips tasted like holiday dishes you wouldn't expect from a chip. The first was Pumpkin Pie. Now, this is not a sweet chip. It's still slightly savory. It resembles pumpkin (which is not terribly sweet on its own) and has a hint of the spices used in pies. It is not a sickenly sweet version like you'd find in a latte or cookie. We really enjoyed the chips.

But our absolute fave was the Turkey and Gravy chip. Oh my. It was reminiscent of homemade stuffing, actually. It has herbs and spices and a hint of rosemary and sage. It was tasty!

Both of these chips are available for a limited time from select retailers Spouts and Kroger stores! Learn more about Boulder Canyon Authentic Foods at their website, on Facebook, or via Twitter!

  1. I like my potato chips to taste like potato chips and my turkey to taste like turkey. I'm weird that way :-)

If you like these, though, you might want to seek out Jones Soda's Thanksgiving six pack, if they sell it in your area. It's a complete Thanksgiving dinner in a six pack of soda -- turkey and gravy soda, green bean casserole soda, cranberry, etc.
